Menu Ideas
Making dinner reservations for Valentine’s Day can be hard and expensive. So why not keep it simple and serve a nice breakfast in the morning and a special cocktail in the evening. A few extra touches are all you need to make the day festive. It’s all about hearts right?
- Make heart-shaped pancakes by pouring your pancake batter into a squeeze bottle. Squeeze out a free-form heart onto your heated pan and fill it in with the batter. Serve pancakes with sliced strawberries or raspberries for a touch of red.
- Serve up some scones or doughnuts along with this easy Cappuccino Heart Foam.
- Cut out some heart-shaped marshmallows using a heart-shaped cutter and float on top of hot chocolate or use the cutter to make a heart out of your morning toast.
- Add a heart shape to a tea bag – cut two hearts out of construction paper, remove the tea-bag tag, and attach the two hearts (back-to-back) with double-sided tape; an even easier method is to use two heart-shaped stickers!
- Scatter heart-shaped confetti on the table.
- Use heart-shaped coasters.
