I love a good, classic mojito cocktail made with muddled lime, sugar, mint, and rum. However, while in Aruba, one of our servers suggested I try their frozen mojito. Well I was hooked and, as a result, the frozen mojito became my cocktail of choice whenever I was lounging by the pool!
Not only was it cold and refreshing but it had an unexpected, hidden benefit as well. Often the mint and garnish contained in the drink can get stuck in your teeth which is not an attractive look! The frozen mojito corrects this as all of the mint is pureed within the drink. This method also infuses the entire cocktail with an even greater mint flavor. Just remember to drink it slow to avoid brain freeze!
Of course, the classic version is always a crowd pleaser. Here are the recipes for both cocktails:

I am looking forward to serving the frozen mojito at our next summer party and reliving our wonderful Aruba memories.
Try them both and let us know which one you prefer!
Cheers!
