Spring is finally in the air which means it’s time to start thinking about updating your spring wardrobe with a few additions! To help keep the cost down, I want to buy a few classic pieces that will also work with what is already hanging in my closet. One way to limit spending is to concentrate your purchases on a single color palette. By limiting your color palette, especially if you include neutrals, you can be sure that everything will work together.
Clothing
This spring I find myself drawn to the colors blue and white. This classic color combination is very crisp, bright, and striking. White is a great neutral because it can be combined with so many colors. My closet has a lot of black, gray, and navy in it already so I know these pieces will work with much of what I already own.
Accessories
As much as I enjoy shopping for clothes, I really love shopping for jewelry. I am a firm believer that nothing changes the feel of an outfit better or easier than some great jewelry. Here are two items that I just had to buy for spring:
