When you package them using the labels from my free printable (at the end of the post), they can even be given as gifts!
DIY Foot Scrubs
Although I am not an aromatherapist, I do enjoy diffusing essential oils throughout my home and using them for easy self-care recipes. I personally am a sucker for a good foot scrub. Here are two recipes I like to use, depending on the season. A similar recipe can be found here.
Spring/Summer – Citrus Essential Oils
Tea Tree & Citrus Foot Scrub
Ingredients
- 4 ounce wide mouth jar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons jojoba oil
- 18-24 drops tea tree essential oil
- 18-24 drops citrus essential oil (orange, tangerine, or lemon)
Mixing bowl and spoon
Instructions
- In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until well mixed.
- Transfer scrub into wide mouth jar.

Fall/Winter – Peppermint Essential Oils
Peppermint Foot Scrub
Ingredients
- 4 ounce wide mouth jar
- 6 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 teaspoons Vitamin E oil
- 10-12 drops peppermint essential oil
Mixing bowl and spoon
Instructions
- In mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and stir until well mixed.
- Transfer scrub into wide mouth jar.

DIY Exercise Mat Spray
Whenever I exercise at home or at the gym, I like to freshen my mat and the area around me with this quick spray. I love the scent of grapefruit and I like the addition of tea tree for a cleansing effect!
Exercise Mat Spray
Ingredients
- 6 drops grapefruit essential oil
- 6 drops tea tree essential oil
- 2 fluid ounces water
- 2 ounce mist spray bottle
Instructions
- Add essential oils to the bottle.
- Add water.
- Replace lid and shake until well blended.
