I have been trying to incorporate more vegetables into my meals each day. One easy way to include vegetables with breakfast is to blend them with fruit into a green protein smoothie. I like to use spinach in breakfast smoothies as it has a much milder taste than say kale. Here is the recipe that I have been drinking every morning for the past week.
Green Protein Smoothie
A quick and healthy smoothie to start your day.
Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 cup frozen mango or pineapple chunks
- 1 handful fresh spinach
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in blender.
- Blend until smooth.
